Your tranny is the AX5 since it's behind the 2.5L engine. AX15 is behind the 4.0L engine.
Capacity is about 3.5qts.
You can find Penzoil Synchromesh at AutoZone and other parts stores. It's okay but Redline MT90 is the best. It's synthetic which means shifting like warm butter even in the coldest of weather, and specially formulated to be easy on the soft brass synchronizers of the Aisin-Warner trannies. Drain plug for the AX5 is on the bottom center of the transmission. Fill plug looks just like the drain plug 1/2 way up the driver's side of the transmission. Do not remove any plugs labeled 'Do Not Remove'.
