as far as hooking a tow strap to your jeep... any way that you can fasten it onto the trailer hitch (or any part of it) will be appropriate. if theres nothing to hook to... just wrap the strap around it and hook it back onto itself. check the front of your vehicle also as it might have towing points up there. as far as hooking onto another vehicle... anywhere on the chassis is acceptable. just make sure you don't fasten it to part of the bumper or a steering component or anything like that... stick with chassis rails only. check your jeep manual to see what the 4 banger is capable of towing. if you don't have a manual i'll check mine and tell you. i actually spent all day sunday driving around our neighborhood with my I-6 jeep pulling people out of ditches and up hills with my tow straps. they work great as long as you use them properly! good luck~[addsig]
