If you know the conditions outside, and know that your car isn't equipped to handle those conditions, don't go. If you don't know if your car is equipped to handle those conditions, find out, or don't go. If your car isn't equipped, find someone who is and can help you. If you're like the mother with a sick kid, call an ambulance if its that bad. I swear some people are retarded. This is the same reason CA now has laws mandating how you can and cannot punish your child. I swear this whole nation is gonna be on a governmental leash someday... We really have to be told what we can and cannot do in almost every situation anymore...
