does anyone know if the 4.2L (258 ) will accept the 4.0 tranny? was told it would work, but would like to make sure before i try to get one. OR- my 258 has a tranny in good working order but has a
transfer case (that can be unbolted) and i need it to be 2wd.... is there a 2wd tailshaft i can get for it? ive been told its a mopar tranny so maybe the 727 or 904?
i'm learning all this, new to the mechanical stuff.....
