Thanks for the great responses...

I guess it would be best to stay with the 6 cyl. when power is so much better with little or no difference in gas mileage.

I'm having a difficult time finding even basic 4.0L Cherokees 4x4 ('90s) with no frills and 5 spd. manual...are they rare or what?
