I have a '78 CJ-7. The other night I was letting my Jeep warm up getting ready to come home from work. I turned on the lights and couldn't see them and the dash lights were low. I turned on the hi-beams and everything worked just like it should. I thought the dimmer switch was bad so I replaced it, still the same thing happened. I knew that the headlight was going bad because of the way the dash lights brighten and dim so I replaced it. The same thing is going on. Going to get 2 new lights friday, I don't think that will solve the problem, but will narrow it down. What else could it be? I checked the fuse's, none blown. I did spray the inside of the jeep out monday, cause I went wheelin' sunday. I mainly got the floor, didn't spay at the dash or under it. Any idea's?
