Something to keep in mind, the TJ tailgate hinges were engineered to be more robust than the YJ tailgate hinges. Therefore, the TJ hinges are able to carry the added weight of larger tires better than the YJ hinges. Either way, ezwrangler, check the hinges and sheet metal every couple hundred miles to make sure there's no damage and that the tailgate swings properly.
