Well not to throw fuel on the fire but....I couldn't resist!
Can any one tell me when the ole mighty YJ went to Electronic fuel injection?
Now can some one tell doesn't that require an ECM?
So far the arguments are creature comforts verses shear dependability and the dreaded ECM.
Every year Jeep has tried to make the Jeep Wrangler better than the last.
The improvements from the CJ to the YJ was dropping the heavier 304 for the lighter I-6 (243?), longer and wider stance...and just to make a another change the dreaded square head lights!
Then came the big change to EFI! OH no!!!!
If there was a problem with an ECM don't you think Jeep would have changed back to a carbed system? There isn't a vehicle made today without one...the work just fine...even getting wet, they are sealed you know.
Then jeep got there head right and made the practical, reliable, and most beautiful jeep they ever produced the MIGHTY TJ!!!!!
Then tinkering with perfection they came up with the Rubi
then it all went down hill with the jk...
OK all joking aside...now can anyone tell me what is written on all of the sides of the previous mentioned vehicles?
JEEP
We all drive the same thing does it really matter if your head lights are misshapen and square?
