OK, so I have this Cj7 with a dana 30 in front, a dana 20 in the rear. I got a dana 44 with a posi, and 3.73 gears for the back. I can buy a Detroit Ez
locker for that as well from a friend, and another
locker for the 30 from a different guy. I also have an unknown diff carrier which has clutches in it(in an unmarked box in the floor of the jeep when I got it) it has 29 splines inside the side gears. how can I find out what that is for? I may be dreaming, but if it's a posi for a Dana 30, I may use it for my front end. Is there any way to ID what this thing is?
I have pics. anyone know if 29 splines is for a particular Axle type? for all I know, It may not even be a dana/Jeep part. Also, I need a set of 3.73 gears for the dana 30 (whatever carrier/locker/posi I end up with) Help please!! Frank
