I guess I'm going to part out this 2000 Wrangler that I have.
It is a 4 cylinder standard shift vehicle. The engine is gone as is all the engine hang on stuff. The boys told me in an earlier posting that the trans is a AX5 & the
Transfer Case is a NP231 - The rears are Dana's a D30 & a D35 & probably 4:10 ratios.
Looking at eBay the AX5's currently up on auction are being called out for YJ's 87 thru 96 - Are these the same or is my 2000 AX5 different? or is it a rear mount or front bolt patern difference?
Any help is apprechiated - I don't want to give somebody the wrong info
