Just installed new exhaust/intake gaskets need help
I have just installed new felpro exhaust and intake gaskets on a 1979 cj7 258 6cyl. The front of the exhaust manifold was leaking and that is the reason for the new gaskets. I just finished the install and now the back of the manifold is leaking. I was told the torque is 30 lbs. and to start in the middle and work my way out in a circular motion. I have done this still have a leak (not in the front now but in the back). Could I have done something wrong? I cleaned everything and took my time putting it all back together. Should I loosen it back up and look to make sure that the gasket didnt slip or something? Need help.
