You should be fine, just be careful when you hit a bump and the shocks compress in the front, this could break a shock mount or the shock if there isn't enough compression travel.
Don't get the RS5000, it's a gas charged shock that will ride stiff. Get a hydraulic shock and your kidneys will thank you
