Not a dumb question at all bhog. An aussie
locker is very similar to a lockright or others that replace the spider gears w/in the carrier. This is sometimes refered to as a "lunchbox"
locker. Lockers like this can be nice because they're easy to install and you don't have to regear your axle b/c you're swapping out the entire carrier like you do with full detroits, ARB, OX etc.
