J4000?
i recently got a 1973 jeep j4000 and the guy i got it from swears that its has a 401 in it but i cant find any where that they put a 401 in that year how can i tell that it is a 401 and not a 360 with out tearing the heads off an measure?

Come over the the full size room.
International Full Size Jeep Association - Powered by vBulletin LOTS of great poeple and 95% are VERY friendly. You have to look under the motor mount on the engine block. I have the same user name on the other site. There are a few members from Utah (if I got that right) on there. Hope to see you....

Look on under side of block up under engine motor mount.
