Can i take my skidplate off my 89 wrangler and still drive it around(on- road) while i paint it? Thanks chris[addsig]

Someone correct me if I`m wrong, but I don`t think that you can operate

the vehicle without the skid plate. I know that on my 99 TJ, the plate also

serves as the Trans. /Transfer Case mount. It is HEAVY, so get help removing

it and reinstalling it. If memory serves me correct, the 93 that I had prior,

this was also the case with the plate.



But, someone else may know more!
