Looking for advice/tips

Installing my Teraflex lower control arms this weekend. They are adjustable.

I have about 4 1/4" of lift. Any advice or tips or tricks I should know about? Seems pretty straight forward and I'm going with the length advised here:

I just figured I'd ask, ya never know when someone might have a tip that'll save time, etc.

That chart appears accurate from the adj. control arms I've installed. Try to keep the caster adjuster in the middle of the range so the alignment shop has room to work with, if you're going to get it aligned. Not a bad idea to at least check the caster afterwards.

	Caster Caster angle is the angular displacement from the vertical axis of the suspension of a steered wheel, measured in the longitudinal direction. It is the angle between the pivot line (in a car - an imaginary line that runs through the center of the upper ball joint to the center of the lower ball joint) and vertical.

Yeah I plan to have it aligned tomorrow afternoon, after putting the arms on myself in the AM.

The bolts for the stock arms are a little off center to the rear of the Jeep. Is this position held by the bolt being tightened or is there some sort of shim or cam bolt in there???

Well they're done. Not the easiest job in the world moving the axle outward but she's done and so is the alignment which turned out pretty good.

There's an improvement in the ride, and I haven't tested them offroad yet but there is definately more allowance for wheel travel now. I must admit, the ride isn't improved all that much, but I definately notice the bumps are smoother, especially at highway speeds and the caster is where it should be now.

Guess that proves Bounty's theory on anything over 3.5 should go long arm (or drop brackets). Oh, well it's a Jeep not a Caddy.
