The transfer case on most Cherokees.

1 When it is in 2 wheel drive is the transfer case just a 1 to 1 ratio ??
2. Is the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) located on the tranfer case or transmission in late model jeeps???

Any clue to the above will be appreciated

Thanks

2wd is 1:1 in all Cherokees.

The Speed Sensor is located on the tailshaft housing of the transfer case on all late model 4wd Cherokees. I'm sure it's on the tranny for 2wd models.
