I am beginning to get frustrated with all the wiring behind my dash. It seems like its been spliced and diced too many times to count before I bought it. I am considering pulling the dash open and reinstalling everything. I have a '83 CJ7 Laredo. Is there a kit made to do what I'm looking for or am I, as a beginner, getting in over my head?

I would just recommend going slow, and replacing one thing at a time. It shouldn't be too hard, just time consuming

Yes, Yes there is.

A few weeks ago i watched the
CRANK & CHROME SHOP on TNN do just that to an early 80's CJ.

They bought a sweet kit which contained EVERYTHING !!! it had the correct connectors which pluged right into the switches and heater and ign and all.

The kit goes for about $400. It also contains a new style fuse block.

I believe this is where the kit came from.

CRANK & CHROME did all the underhood wiring & lighting circuits as well

And...they got it all done before the 30 minute show was over!

EAZY!!!
