OK, of course, the routine is to look under the Jeep after wheeling it to make sure all is well... So, I did... I didn't even think to look for mud build-up under the hood, or at least, didn't think about it that much when I did...

I start it a couple times on the turnpike (remember, I wheeled it all day less than 12 hours before I went to Virginia)... When it was hot, on the turnpike, and I started it, it made this horrible loud rattling, kind of like the muffler fell off... I was worried, until I found out what it was...

There is mud on the electric fan, causing it to naturally be off balance... Mud DOES indeed get in through the grille, condensor, and radiator... Especially nice wet mud Especially when you hit it hard and fast Like about 30 MPH Because, after all, it's fun to make yer mom grab for the OH $*&! bar in terror...

So, anyways, a little preventative heads up... I'm usually hardcore common sense, but the thought that the mud could stick to the electric fan totally slipped my mind... Makes sense, it was just above freezing, so it wouldn't have been coming on, causing the mud to drip down and solidify...

Happy Jeeping!

Careful when hitting mud at high speeds. I destroyed my Dana 30 that way.

Glad your gettin' her dirty though!

Re: RE: Large turkey sub

It's gentle mud... It's been a good mud season so far, somewhere between the consistency of Cream O' Wheat, and cream of asparagus soup... And Mingez, it's been great to get it all dirty and such... Nothing has managed to get me into a good mood till that happened...

GO MUD!!!

Not many rocks, but an overabundance of mud here... I would think rocks would harm more than mud...

RE: Random Poetry...

depends on what you want to harm. mud will kill joints and axles. rocks, well rocks will kill whatever you're foolish enough to let nail them. unless of course you get rockers and skids all around!!
