I recently purchased a 1950 ford F1 that has been converted to 4x4. The frame, motor, trany, etc. come from a 1976 jeep. The prior owner does not know what model. The frame measures 109.5 inches from center to center of hubs. It has an inline 6 with 3 speed manual. Can any one give me an idea as to what type of jeep this came from or how to find out? I need to replace the shocks and some steering components. The lug pattern is 5 on 5.5 (I think) with front lockers.

How do I remove factory decals?

1976 jeep wagoneer/cherokee has a 109 inch wheel base. if the engine is stock for the frame find the engine numbers on the right side of the block in the center, just below the head.
