i have decide that i am going to put the 350 into the Jeep. i want to put a different tranny instead of my stock tranny. what are some places that i can look for a good high preformance transmission.

i want a manual and it is used as a daily driver but i like to go off road once in a while.

NV4500 found in many newer model 3/4T and larger trucks. I believe they're not all created equal, some have lower gearing. Stick with a lighter synchronized tranny like what's found in newer models since it's a daily driver.

nv3500 is a good choice, or the nsg360 (six speed), they all are good and strong and take abuse. if you do your gearing right you could do a np435 but its a wide ratio tranny. autos are actually coming back around in the offroading world as people are seeing the adaptabilty of them and their ability to change and offer slip in the systm. turbo 350, turbo 400, torqueflite 999 are some ideas
