Thats what I'am thinking of buying.
Its a friends, and he needs to sell it. ( he's moving)
He's the 2nd owner.
it has a 3 inch body lift. And new 31at's.
Only used for dirt roads and Fire trails. (this I know for sure)
He did baby it mostly.
Sound like a deal at 3000.00 ???

As long as mechanically it checks out and rust isnt an issue I think its a decent price.

I think the biggest problem with the cj was no fuel injection.
He's got a complete soft top and hard top w/doors, Ramsey 6000 winch and a high lift to go along with it...
I looked under it, No dents or scratches. I think the gear was just to complete the look.
Sound bar and Cb also Included.

Clutch chatter, HELP ME
I say hell yeah. That's a sweet deal. I'd do it. Rust?
31's to boot! The hard top alone could fetch you some of that back. If it's in descent condition, then let's assume you could get...what...atleast 3-500 bucks for the hard top (if not much more)? I'd pay 2500-2700 for a descent YJ with a lift, 31's and a 6000 lb winch.

It should resale faster than the CJ, since it's not such a narrow group of enthusiast buyers that you're dealing with. Are you going into a side business trying to scoop up the good local deals and flipping them for profit, or what?
What was so screwed up about the CJ that you didn't just put FI on it?.......

I did not want to go through the hassle of wiring the Fuel Injection up.
The Cj had no A/C.
And the YJ does. :)

I have to admit that I've been spoiled by the AC in the TJ. This is the first SWB that I've ever had it on, and I do enjoy it on those really humid days or when it's hot outside and rain keeps me from being able to remove all the windows.
