Im building a 65 wagoner, with a 327 vigilante BB. I need a bell housing for a T18 trans. I am also swaping out the axels, and leafs. Iv got the older style axles with the ball looking joint that holds the steering knuckle to the axel. It looks small and weak, so I found a set of 3/4 ton axels with the pumpkins on the rt side, full disk breaks, and get this, a new set of J20 leaf springs, all for only $300.00. Well my question is shuld I hold onto, sell, or just throw away my old axles? Dose anybody know if I can get a harmonic ballancer for a BB 327 so I can get the later model alt., a/c, and ps. to work from an 83 wagoneer. On the origonal harmonic balancer the belts are spaced about a 1/4" apart, I need them to be about a 1/16" apart. Hopefuly someone can help me.
