Wow,... one hell of a weekend... (Teralfex 6" LCG Max install)
The Teraflex LCG kit came in Wednesday finally, and we decided since there was no way to make it up to Moab to join up with Utah, that we would spend the weekend putting it all together and dialed in. (We meaning me and a few friends who popped in now and then to help when they could). Wow,... I had no clue what I was in for. Just the process of cutting off the upper control arm mounts and grinding them down for the new brackets to be welded on was brutal. All total, including fabbing the new steering components (Thanks Scorpion MotorSports!!) it took me 58 hours. Unfortunately thats 58 hours in 3 days. I am happy to report that it is all bolted up now though. I have to have the muffler installed tomorrow and I am done. I will get some pics up online real soon. If anyone is looking at either upgrading the Tera Long Arm Kit to the LCG Max kit, or going from stock, let me know. I found a couple of great resources for answers, and found several time saving solutions I can turn you onto.
I'm going to wheel it this weekend and will post how it performs.
