well i done went and did it. can you guess? lets put it this way, i need someone to change my SN to nolongerjeepless20, at least for a little 'till i think of a better one. thats right i purchased myself a Jeep, 1991 cherokee, 4.0 I6 and a 5sp MANUAL trans. weeeeeeee! lemme tell ya, this thing has more power than i thought id ever need. i know different now lol. its a '91 so the clear coat has gone to the dogs, parking lot dent on right front fender and the padding in the driver seat, not to badly. as soon as i get the pics uploaded ill show ya'll

If you want to, you can bring on down here to me and me and the guy whose painting mine will paint it for you cheaper then you can get it done at a big named place and do just as good as them.
Yes you must get pictures! I'm glad you got a I6 rather then the I4..*sighs* I can never find a HO I6, i've only had the good ol' I4, still a beast though.

well i'll tells ya. as far as being a toy, yes. and a DD, yes. it will do everything i want it to, even towing my buddy's boat to the sturgeon holes. sure is gunna look funny with two 13 foot bank rods on the roof though, at least till i get it lifted.
you gotta love the I6, and slap a 5sp manual behind it any you have a winner. i have a couple of pics for ya, there not the best couse thay are from my phone, but anyway,   thats a good pic on the dent. it aint too bad. both pics where taken in my buddys driveway haivng just drove it across town from the car lot. but lets not forget the most important part, WEEEEEEEEEEE I GET TO GO WHEELIN' AGAIN!!!

After years of admiring these machines, I finally made the move and blew my year end bonus on a 1989 Wrangler.
I have a great fondness for stoically utilitarian machines, and this certainly fills that bill like few other vehicles (well maybe the original Land Rover or the military Humvee). I know exactly how you feel. o-boy o-boy

well cripes post up some pics there jayh. i cant believe i never said what i paid. anyway it was listed at $3,000- craigslist price was $2,000- and i got er for $1,500. ware's all the portland area Jeeperz. i know we have a couple here. i got my CB radio in it now, galaxy DX959 and some off brand coil type antenna, soon to be a 10k. anyway i gotta go. its bowling night. ill be back hehe!
