Re: Anybody know paintball guns?
Looks like a pretty nice setup. How much? I used to play a few years ago until my 40 year old knees decided to start arguing with me about all the running and kneeling involved. It sure was a blast though. Creeping through the woods, stalking your prey and then you spot them and bam bam bam bam bam! Did I say it was a blast? My spyder is in a bag in the attic and occasionally calls out to me but sadly I have to ignore it and spend my spare money on my bikes instead.

$169 locally, $149 online (plus shipping)... maybe cheaper if I hunt the internet but I'll probably buy locally.

Re: Anybody know paintball guns?
I haven't played or been around anybody that has in almost 2 years but spyder had a good name back when i did. Decent guns especially for the price but i've never had experience with that exact model.

Re: Anybody know paintball guns?
Well my son and I went a couple weeks ago and the rental guns just don't get it done against the ones many of the guys there had but WOW what an awesome day! Nothing worse than returning fire and having your paintballs drop in front of someone who is zinging them past your head
Anyhow my son really wants one and I think my wife and I are going to get him one for Christmas. I told my wife that a second (identical) one would make a nice Christmas/Birthday present for his Dad

Re: Anybody know paintball guns?
Haha, so I just talked to my brother. He said that thing is "a piece of ____" I'll let you fill in the blank. He also said the elbows on those spiders are week and notorious for breaking. A good gun that will get you started well is the Tippman 98. Equate it to the Remington Model 870 if you will. My brother has a good Tippman 98 for sale on ebay right now, its got extras like a mask, and bottle and stuff, for less than that one. My brother knows his stuff, and if he says thats "a piece of _____", I'll believe him. I'll pm you the info on my brothers gun.
This is the gun my brother shoots right now, with some trick upgrades of course, but its baaaad.
And the one hes getting for xmas
