Talking Will I need longer upper control arms?

I've got a RE 3.5" lift on a 92 XJ. I recently threw on a set of BFG MT 33x12.5 tires and belive it or not they fit with only minor rubbing. I still need bout 2" more lift for it tobe trail ready. I have replaced the lower control arms already but I am fearful that 2" extra lift (spacers front and shackles rear) will require the upper control arms to be replaced. Anyone out there have any feedback? This is not a daily driver, but it will see the highway from time 2 time. Thanx for any input.
Jon

Most likely your going to need the uppers also. Also watch out you might need to get the slip-yoke eliminator, I know you usually need it with the 4.5 kits. Good luck man.

Re: Will I need longer upper control arms?

You'll need longer upper control arms, I had to add 1" over stock to my uppers for 5.5" springs, the same as your spring+spacer height.

My lowers needed to be 17" long for proper wheelbase at 5.5".
