Question 12 volt conversition

i recently converted my "51" willys pickup to 12 volt and and without thinking i removed all the wiring from the charging system and some from the ing. system , now i have the problem of no power to the ing. switch . i was told i needed to run wires form the old voltage regulato to the switch but i didnt . im not good at electrical problems , as you can see i need some help i hope some one with the know how will be kind enought to give it.
