need help

i have a 1994 wrangler with the 2.5 and the AX5 tranny has died
i found a Comanche with a 2.8 v6 and T5 tranny wondering if i can use the T5 tranny in my jeep (if it will bolt up to my motor with no problems) can anybody help me with figuring this one out Thanks!!!

i believe that the Comanche is also in the 90's if that helps

Re: need help

Neither tranny will bolt right up. You can make the AX15 work with a bellhousing from a 2.5L Dakota with a 5spd.

Another AX5 should last if you use the proper fluid like Redline MT90. Most of the recommended GL5 gear oils are bad on the AX5's syncros.
