Backspacing
Hi, I have a 97 tj. I am putting 33x12.5's on it with 3 inches of total lift. My question is about backspacing. I want to keep my stock rims, is this even possible or do I need new rims with proper backspacing to fit this size of tire. Thanks

I think you may have tire clearance issues on the spring buckets. I'd consider 1" or 1.5" wheel spacers if you like the oem wheels.

When I had my TJ I put 33x12.50's on the stock rim, I think they were 7.5 or 8" wide. If I remember right I had to grind some of the rear spring bucket off.
