Those of us who like guns and freedom dodged a bullet today

5-4 vote, close, if Kennedy had not have swung, we would all be waking up to a different world tomorrow.

I hope the wave continues and I would think the NRA and GOA will be heading to Illinois to throw out that piece of trash law backing the Nazi inspired FOID card.

yesterday the Supreme Court handed down an historic opinion on the 2nd Amendment
A man in Washington DC sued over the handgun ban there and actually won.
The court said that the ban was unconstitutional and in doing so had to rule for the first time since the 30's on the true meaning of the "Right to keep and bear arms" and "infringement"

We can now hope that similar cities with restrictions will loose their ability to keep citizen from having a firearm.

I always wondered by you couldn't have a handgun in the district. The crooks would just come into Virginia and buy guns there.

ya.. try living in massachusetts, near impossible to own a handgun, crap, you need to jump through hoops just to get a permit for a hunting riffle.

Like Chris Rock said.. let everyone have guns, just raise the price of a bullet to $500 per shot, no one will "accidently get shot"
