What part of Florida are you from? I just moved from Lakeland, FL to Raleigh, NC but my uncle still lives there and he's got a TJ.[addsig]

Hey Jeepster05- I live in Lakeland. Small world. What kind of Jeeps do you and your uncle drive...maybe I've seen ya'll around? Depending on when you moved...if you saw a red Wrangler with Christmas lights on the roll bars and a guy in a Santa suit driving around...that's me. Extreme YJ - was just over in Clearwater across from Sand Key on that little beach by the sailing center screwing around on those sand dunes on Monday. Looks like they need to put more sand there...it's getting a little flat. I know Ravin is a couple hrs. south of you right down I-75 in Naples. There used to be some people from the other coast but haven't seen them on here in a while.[addsig]

Clearwater is a my old stomping grounds! Indian Rocks beach, Honeymoon Island, Tarpon Spring, Palm Harbor, that is one of my favorit place in Fla. I spent so much time fishing that I never got into wheelin down there. I would love to cruise some beaches in my Jeep some time! I have alot of cousins in Lakeland and that area. Florida is great! Amen Tug!!! The sad thing is that most people here in Fl. don't even realize how kick ass this state really is. I love the Tarpon Springs area...Crystal River, Homosassa River, Wekki Wachi, Anclote Key, etc. A short autobiographic...I do as much kayaking around Fl. and if lucky surrounding states that I can and that is some of the most beautiful water in this state. Tons of manatees and HUGE fish. Could go on and on... Extreme - Definitely know Bubba's. ...and have heard of the others through stories. By the way...Jeff's is a rip-off. ...or so I've heard. There's always a few nice Jeeps outside...but I've heard there are cheaper ways to go around there. Is that place near Orlando...one of my buddies told me about some place near the Sea World sign on I-4 east towards Orlando? ...and Ocala is fun. Have been there at least six times in the last two months. Good trails...good campin'...and a good ol' little country bar right in the middle of the forest...just in case you didn't bring enough beer for the weekend. Watch out for the wild boars...and the racccooooonsssss!!!!smarter than McGyver. Keep all food in a cooler and then park on the cooler....they aren't that strong. [addsig]

Carter Rd. Park used to be a hot spot around here until the man started patrolling them there parts. No offense B.Hunter. There are some great mountain bike trails there too...for Fl. at least. ...and there's a "mud hole" right outside Lake Wales, Alturas area. Some HUGE trucks go there...stuff w/ 44"s are the norm. Fun. Six hour clean up job again.[addsig]

Hey Natty, I don't think I've ever met anyone else from Lakeland outside of lakeland. I moved from there in October 2001. My uncle drives a hunter green 97 TJ. The jeep I bought came from lakeland so you might have seen it before I bought it, its a white 1990 YJ on 33's. Not many places to 4 wheel there. Don't go to Carter Road in the back pits thats where all of the traps are which me and my uncle unfortunately found out the hard way. [addsig]

Hey, I live in lakeland as well. I'm always up for a good ride to richloam for a Saturday. Some pretty hard core areas up there and is always a blast!
Everyone should meet up for a ride to richloam, croom, or something not 500 miles from here.
I'm sure you've seen me riding around. I've got the only nice looking MJ around. It's a light grey longbed with a black cb antenna right behind the bed....uhhhh.....lol I did get a killer deal on new rims/tires from a ford ranger so thats a pointer...lol
look me up i'm up for a ride! [img]modules/phpBB_14/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] null[addsig]
