Can I ask you why you are going with roller rockers when the rest of the engine is stock. There are ways to get better hp (noticeable hp) other than new rockers.[addsig]

the best method of modifying engine for aiflow is to start from the outside and work in. doing performance rockers won't help because the airbox and stock exhaust will inhibit the airflow. start with intake, exhaust... do a TB, port and polish, header, then do the internals.[addsig]

Sounds like a rather odd place to start modifying your jeep...

You would be best off starting with the basic mods such as airflow and electrical before mucking about with any specific mechanical tweaking.

If your jeep is fuel injected then you should probably start off with the K&N intake, throttle body spacer, catback exaust and headers, then maybe look at beefing up the ignition first.

If you have an old carburated engine, then you'd probably want to do all of the above except install a weber carb instead of the K&N intake and throttle body spacer.

Of course it also depends on what kind of engine you've got in there.

If its a 4.0l or 4.2l you can get a Multiport fuel injection kit from mopar. Its kinda pricey, and personally i think if you're gonna spend that kinda money you might as well just look at an engine swap.

If you have a 2.5l 4banger, then you are pretty limited in what you can do. There are a few 4 banger fanatics on this board, so i'll be careful not to 'dis the 2.5 and just leave it at that... [img]modules/phpBB_14/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img][addsig]

well heres the good question. how good is the Heads or I mean Head on the 4.0L engine? over serious mods will it take its toll or can it handle a ton of mods... lots of guys with regular performance cars inline or V block engines will do rockers and get a signifigant gain out of it... BTW does mopar sell that performance cam they made for the concept TJ rescue vechiele.. [addsig]

Mopar doesnt sell any performance parts on its concepts.

such as nitrous, cams, not for sure on the performance

modules. Clifford performance has all the best parts for mods

on straight 6's.[addsig]
