i have a 97 red cherokee that i've been doing upgrades on and modifying for the past year. its really starting to look great and i think the next thing i want to do is get some new wheels. i currently have the stock 15x7 alloy rims (which are good looking and perfectly fine) but i have always been a big fan of black wheels. the only ones i have been able to find are american racing's AR-767's. they seem good enough and are cheap ($35 apiece)... so whats the opinion on them? any other wheels i should look at? the AR's also have 4" of backspacing (i think) so what exactly would that mean? thanks for any help![addsig]

I run the 767's on my wrangler I think for the price you can't beat them, the look sharp on my friends red wrangler so I think they would look good on your red cherokee[addsig]

thanks for in input! i'm running 30x9.5 BFG a/t's so should i go with a 15x7 or a 15x8? anybody have any trouble with corrosion since these are a steel wheel as opposed to an alloy? and what is the 4" backspacing? thanks again.[addsig]

Go with the 8". IF you wanna go bigger tires later the 8" will give you a lot more choices. If you buy them from a tire store, they will ask you what they are for to get the proper backspacing. I believe 4-4 1/4 is about right. So far mine still look great, even after 2 years of abuse. Just give them a coat of wax whenever you wax your rig.[addsig]
