Right now i'm runnin 33x12.50s with stock gears on stock axles and I am going ot be upgrading to soem 35x12.50s soon and I will definitely have to regear. I probably should regear now to 4.56 with my 33s but I don't currently have the funds or time. I have a 90 YJ with the 4.2L 258 I6 too so I'd suggest regearing but I don't know what the stock axles can handle.[addsig]

From what I hear, you can run 35's but it is not recomended. The D35 won't hold up long, unless you go with a Super 35 kit and/or one piece axles.[addsig]

i am not surprised to hear that the dana 35 is too weak to run 35 inch tires....i figuered i would have too go with a set of 44's or 60's...however i just wanted too know how many of ya run 35 tires on the dana 35....well i guess my next question is too those of you who have done an axle swap " how much can i expect to pay for a set of 44 or 60??" thanks all[addsig]
