ok i decided to go with the 96 cherokee as i mentioned in my "jeep crossroads" thread, ive noticed some thing tho, my neighbor has a 99 cherokee with a different grille, is it possible to remove the 96 grill and and swap it with a factory 99 grille? personally i think the grille is the only thing that sets the new cherokees apart from the older ones. any one done this swap or knows someone that has. thanks[addsig]

ok heres the latest on my grill dilema, ive decided against sneaking over to the neighbors house in the middle of the night to pull a stealth measurement as that might look like i was trying to steal it and i wouldnt be able to pop his hood. luck is with me however. my friend just recieved full custody of his moms 99 XJ today and has agreed to let me measure his grill under his supervision (i dont know whats up with these people, protective of grills much? i do a lotta work on friends cars, cold air , new tailights etc and ive never broken anything lol i dont get it) but ill post the dimensions and # of screws for anyone else who cares, perhaps dingus. laters[addsig]
