Stupidity of the upshift light

Ok, I was pulling a Honda Crv out of the ditch after our latest snow. I was pulling from my hooks in the front and in reverse. I had it in 4 lo and looked down while towing and noticed the the upshift light was on when I was in reverse. It just sort of amazed me. [addsig]

i HATE the shift lights. i had one in my chevy truck and it wanted me in 5th/OD when i was going 45. that seems a little low. my dad passed on this advice to me as i was turned loose with it my first day of having my license. "the shift light is there for a reason, but dont let it make you a fool" take it for what its worth lol[addsig]

it is just prolly sensed from the tach, and when it hits a certin (sp) rpm it lights up[addsig]

The idiot light is there so you can shift at the best rpm to get the most of your fuel economy. So take it for what it's worth hense the term idiot light .......Bullet

PS. As stated earlier, take out the bulb.[addsig]

I'd Cover the dash with the kids pics to cover the lights, I put one over the annoying wiper fluid light..........Bullet[addsig]

you know what cures that wiper fluid light, You go under the hood and unplug the plug on top of the washer fluid resivor. It's the sensor, and the light goes right out.
First thing I did when I got my jeep.[addsig]
