I have just purchased a 2001 XJ (my first Jeep) and just love it. I do have one question, is there any information on disabeling the passenger side airbag or both airbags and not have the light in the dash stay lit? :-?

Disable if you can find out how then remove the light bulb. Airbags on a Jeep kind of like **** on a bore hog. Hit something hard then cut em out with your pocket knife. heheehehe :-D tug

How do off roaders deal with this. Can't believe that you would want the airbag in your face when that tree won't move. I think I should just unplug each airbag and wait for the lite to burn out. would rather not.[addsig]

while removing the airbags will void your warrenty and **** off your insurance, i would suggest just removing the bags, sensors, and wiring altogether. you'll get a pretty penny for them on ebay when that other guy's jeep gets in a wreck and he needs airbags. just a thought
