TPS woes

My jeep just got out of the shop, 98TJ 4cycl. The mech had to replace the computer ($$$$$$$) and he told me he replaced the Throtle poisitioning sensor. Well I had been getting the 2.4 code on my TJ for a while, which I believe is the TPS code. Well the other day I checked when I had gotten it back and saw I still had the 2.4 code. The day after that the check engine light reaperead and the jeep started to stall out on me. Would a TPS be the problem here? What else could this be?[addsig]

	Throttle position sensor A throttle position sensor (TPS) is a sensor used to monitor the position of the throttle in an internal combustion engine. The sensor is usually located on the butterfly spindle so that it can directly monitor the position of the butterfly throttle valve. The sensor is usually a potentiometer and therefore provides a variable resistance dependent upon the position of the butterfly valve (and hence throttle position). The sensor signal is used by the Engine Control Unit (ECU) as an input to its control system. The ignition timing and fuel injection timing (and potentially other parameters) are altered depending upon the position of the throttle, and also depending on the rate of change of that position. For example, in fuel injected engines, in order to avoid stalling, extra fuel may be injected if the throttle is opened rapidly (mimicking the accelerator pump of carburetor systems).

If you already paid somebody to fix it and its not fixed, I'd take it back to the mechanic to see it they would look at it again, for free labor, because they didnt fix it.[addsig]
