Taillights

I just went through a taillight problem and wanted to share so no one else will have it. I was putting some rear taillight guards and ran into some bad wires. I decided to rewire the taillights and when I went to test my work NOTHING. It seemed no power was getting to the light bulbs. I went over the wiring two or three times and was stumped. I went back to the days of installing stereos and thought of a ground. I guess the taillights have to be bolted in to have some sort of ground. I just wanted to save some one a headache.
