I pushed down on the fender of my stock TJ and the truck bounced a little before settling. I know I used to hear that that is the way to check if shocks are going bad. Shouldn't the shocks be a bit firm and the truck not bounce before settling? Or is that normal?

when you push down, it should return back up and stop... and depending on weight, might go back down a very small amount. have someone stand on the bumper and jump off... you stand back and watch.. its a good way to be out of the way and see what happens[addsig]
