Hello everyone.

Just bought a 1990 YJ 4.2 L last week. It drove fine for the first 6 days when all of a sudden it started to pour fuel out of the charcoal canister, and has not started since. So i investigated and discovered that when i plugged the largest hose that runs from the canister to the carb, fuel began to flood out the top of the carb. I'm stumped for what could be wrong.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ps. the carb is brand new. And is something like this covered under the safety warranty (in canada)? [addsig]

Sounds like something is stuck open inside the carb, maybe a float or something. A carb expert I'm not :-? [addsig]
