does anyone know where i can get a np 231 t-case

i got an 2.5l with an ax5 tranny.want to know if anybody outhere knows where i can get a cheap t-case that would bolt righ on my jeep.thanks[addsig]

Where are you located?

Search Car-Parts dot com for your area. I have access to a NP231C here that is similar, may need to swap a few parts over from your NP231J.[addsig]

I can get it for parts, and it depends on if the bad parts in yours match the parts in the 231C, then you can reuse your 231J case. IF you can rebuild it or have somebody else. I'm near St. Louis, where are you?[addsig]

i'm in north carolina raleigh.actually i got mines of my jeep and i open it up.the shift fork(the one that seats on top)i think is the main one.well it looks kind of funny,but everything else looks fine.i manualy put it in 4wd and both shaft turn.do you have a good picture of what that fork looks like?i looked at the haynes manual but that picture is not really helpfull.also i think the same fork is missing the fork inserts is that really need it?thanks man[addsig]

try looking in the auto wreckers in cherokees the minute you say yj cj or tj the price goes up. you just have to look at the id plate for one that matches
