What do you think about shackle reversals? I am buying a 1983 CJ7 and a friend recomended a shackle reversal to improve the ride. I also wanted to do a shackle lift. Can you do a shackle reversal and shacle lift at the same teim?[addsig]

The thinking of ther reversal is a two edged sword! both sides have good arguments on the reversal deal, one the pros if you do it looks great and stops bump steer improves ride and a few other bennys. the the cons is you loose clearence and it is expencive and dificult to do it corectly. As far as doing both at the same time yea why not. If you do go with it keep us posted on what you think of the process, and results. tug[addsig]

a shackle reversal will often give you 1" of lift as is... if you do a reversal in the front, you would want to do a 1" shackle lift in the rear[addsig]
