Has anyone ever seen a hard tonneau cover for a jeep? I'm thinking about making one --but would like to see if there are any out there. [addsig]

Good idea on making one. The only ones I've seen are soft ones. I'm building a rear cargo box that will function kinda as a tonneau cover. Its going to extend from the tailgate up to the 2 front seats. For covering it I would recommend some plastikote auto trunk paint($4.50 at Advanced Auto). It gives a nice textured finish and comes in a few colors. I chose black with gray speckles for my application, but they also offer Gray with white specs, and gray with black and white specs. Good Luck and take lots of pics

this is my preliminary design--- a 3 piece cover attached by steel rods and some kind of locks -- using the roll bars for support:

I'll let you all know when it happens[addsig]
