5 slits in the grill???

Went over to a freinds ranch and found a feild full of junked cars and trucks.Anyway there was a white jeep,with 5 slits in the grill.The steering wheel was on the right side and it was 2wd.Ity was a 4banger auto transmission.I think it was a CJ5 due to the really short wheel base.Willys maybe??? :wink: Sully[addsig]

This is surely a postal jeep, more commonly reffered to in the jeep world as the DJ (Delivery Jeep?) or the "Dodge Jeep" or "Dork Jeep" or "Door Jeep"... etc... haha.. Take a look in the last few issues of JP magazine and they are building one..

Did they ever sell jeeps in australia? I've seen some wacky old mopars that were originally sold in kangaroo-land. They all had right hand steering wheels and weird configurations -- like a '72 GTX with a slant 6. etc. [addsig]
