i bought a weber carb and ran the vacuum lines just like it was said in the weber issues post. after i was done i got in my jeep to see if the four wheel drive was still working. it wasnt just like i thought because i unhooked so many vacuum lines. not sure which one runs the 4x4, any help would be greatly appreciated. p.s. the big round thing under the battery (not sure what its called) currently has no vacuum going to it i unhooked it . most likely the problem right. thanks in advance.[addsig]

You should have two vacuum lines coming out of wire loom between the battery and firewall. One ends in a round vent cap that looks like it should have a vacuum line on it. The other runs across the firewall to the intake manifold for vacuum.

The transfer case has 4 vacuum lines coming from it:
  • Vacuum from intake manifold
  • Vent line ending near battery
  • Two lines supplying vacuum to the front axle
