i am getting a mildew smell from the vents when i turn the heater on after a rainstorm or damp day. i tried spraying lysol into the intake. it seemed to stop it for a little, now it is back. is it hard to take it apart to clean the a/c fins?[addsig]

Try some bleach rather than Lysol. It will kill everything in there just do not get to crazy with it. tug[addsig]

Also make sure the drain for the A/C isn't clogged with gunk. Use some compressed air to blow it out. The heater core and evaporator core are in the same housing.[addsig]
