...2 Fast 2 Furious, except instead of racing sports cars, it would be about Jeeps driving over things. And maybe the climax could be a Jeep vs Hummer showdown. Oh, how sweet it would be.[addsig]

...that wouldn't be so hot in my opinion... F&F made such a rivalry between car makes that nobody gets along... hondas hate mitsu's etc...
if we created that with offroaders, the fun of wheeling with multiple makes (the more people with you, the less chances of getting stuck... the more fun...)[addsig]

alright, so how about a movie about offroading (make and model doesnt matter). That would be cool. I just dont like the idea of a movie about driving fast...I want to see some off roading on the big screen. [addsig]

What would the Plot be?? You can't really have a plot that doesn't have any contraversy and expect to have a decent movie. Maybe a Movie like Off-raod challenge the Ricers to a race ;-) cross country. Ricers take the roads Off-raod take the shortest distance between 2 points (a straight line). Kind of a modified Cannonball run WOOT!![addsig]

I've had this idea ever since the first horrible fast and furious movie ever disgraced the silver screen. To all who give a rat's behind about my opinion...YOU DON'T NEED A PLOT IN MODERN CRAP FILMS LIKE THAT!!! An offroad movie is an excellent idea for whoever is probably already in the process of making it. Don't read too much into what it takes to make a "great" film. All it takes to take money out of young minds and wallets is an attractive female, an attractive male (gotta make both sides happy), a couple of amazing looking vehicles, a little drama (not too deep...you'll lose some folks), a lot of romance (in a spice film type of manner), throw in a couple of pot smoking scenes (look how much money Half Baked made) to reel in the potheads (which I believe is about 75% of the younger movie going population), and maybe the rebellious undertones of the modern youth outwitting the authority. Long story short...it wouldn't take much to complete a project like that...you could call it 2Slow - 2Stoned.[addsig]

If anyone has seen Star Trek Nemesis, there is a short segment where Capt. Picard takes a romping stroll through the desert in a futuristic 4X4. Then to get away from the bad guys, they remote pilot the shuttle to the edge of a cliff where Picard jumps the cliff right into the back of the shuttle. It was kinda cool. At least he did some better wheelin than Jesse James on Monster Garage. [addsig]

Dirt (Circa 1979)
Sand drags, snow drags, mud boggin, tractor pulls, motocross, etc... A full length feature film dedicated to motorized vehicles off the pavement... I was all of 10 when I saw it at the old Fox Theater in North Platte, Nebraska in '79, but I still remember the rooster tails coming off the back tires of those sand and snow dragsters!!! :-D [addsig]

I will take one as well!!
DVD of course can that be dolby digital, THX, DTS sound format?
JK
Most car movies don't have solid story line but the action sequences kick azz!
Case in point
Gone in 60 seconds-both versions (the 70's having less story than the 2000 version)
Cannon ball run-1&2 (forgot about 2 huh)
Smokey and the Bandit -1&2
RPM-cult classic, first foreign film to use a viper Circa 1993 and had David Arrquet
Bullet-Steve McQueen-gave way to a new stang
fast and furious-No plot
Quartro Noza-better than fast&furious W/ european cars
My Favorite- Two Lane Blacktop-James Taylor& The Beach Boy that couldn't swim(he drowned in the 80's), strictly about road racing The best. You must see!!!!
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, but I know there are more
Johnny![addsig]
