AX-15 Transmission problems cont...

My left blinker is staying lit on the dash. Left blinker outside will not work. Right side works entirely. The blinker assembly inside the steering column is new. I don't think it is the blinker on the fuse block either. Any ideas???

Bad bulb in the front left signal, system is designed to stay 'steady on' in the dash to advise you of the problem.

Well, I just tried a new bulb and an extra flasher. Didnt solve it. This sucks. The only light that is dim outside is the driver turn/park light on fender. But even a new bulb was dim.

Check the light bulb sockets.

My cherokee had the same problem once, and what had happened was the grounding prong on the sockets had broken off. So without a ground, the power would back feed through the indicator lights in the dash.

It's a short then, or corrosion, on the side light.
